Dark Horse to Offer ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ for Free Comic Book Day 2012

I know it’s a little early for this, but you know what they say about the early bird…

Dark Horse is already jockeying for position (yes, a little pun there) for Free Comic Book Day 2012.  Special flip books featuring Buffy and Felicia Day’s The Guild will be part of their FCBD giveaways on May 5, 2012.  Georges did the cover (pictured below) and art for the Buffy giveaway.

From DH Website: Buffy has never needed a vacation as badly as she does now, with the world overrun with zompires and other fallout from Season 8. After an old friend suggests a relaxing getaway from all things that go bump in the night, it turns out to be harder than she could ever expect for a Slayer to get a day off.”

You don’t need a Mayans prediction to know how all hell’s goin’ ta break loose that weekend, with FCBD 2012 and the release of Joss’ Avengers movie.
